2015 is winding down. Just a few more days until the calendar turns over.
It’s been just a few months since I launched Lisa Tanner Writing. I’m excited by the growth I’ve seen so far, and looking forward to even more in 2016.
Hustle & Grow–that’s my mantra for the new year.
I have my sights set high, and am planning on doing big things. Even if I fall short, I’ll still be further ahead than I am right now.
What are my freelancing goals?
Here you go:
Launch a Full Course
My freebie mini-course was my first course baby step. I have a bigger one in the works. One that will provide plenty of value for my readers who are struggling to balance work and life. If you’re interested, be sure to subscribe so you’re among the first to hear when I release it.
Earn $30K
It seems high right now, but I know it’s totally doable with some hustling on my part. That breaks down to $2500 a month. I was near $2000 for December, so it’s a growth, but not crazy. I’m thinking the first few months of the year will be lower, which means I’ll have to earn more later in the year.
Connect with Other Mompreneuers
Going it alone isn’t much fun. I’m so excited about the Mamapreneur Mastermind Group that Gina Horkey and Ariel Rule are starting. I took the plunge and joined as a charter member–I’m looking forward to learning more from these amazing business mamas.
Get a Blog Face Lift
I’m currently running a freebie theme. I love the look of some of the more personalized sites, and know that once our savings account it back up following some unexpected car repairs, I’ll be spending some money to get my site redone. I’m also in need of a logo–if anyone has any designers who do quality work, I’d love the recommendations!
Write a Homeschool Writing Curriculum
This one is my bonus goal. I love teaching, and know I have a lot to offer students. I don’t like the direction public education is going, so it makes the most sense for me to work within the homeschooling community. My curriculum will be different–and amazing!
These five freelancing goals will drive my business into the next year. I can’t wait!
