Hi, I’m Lisa Tanner!

I’m a homeschooling mom of 9 who uses freelance writing, virtual assistance, and blogging to help pay the bills.

Teaching is in my blood (and I hold a master’s degree in Elementary Reading & Literacy), but I left the classroom in 2012 to stay home with my growing crew. Now they make up my classroom, and I love spending time with them!

I launched my business back in 2015, and have been learning more about this whole mompreneur thing ever since.

I’ve definitely made some mistakes along the way, but I really enjoy having my own business!

What I love most though, is helping other moms tame the chaos and find time for businesses of their own.

I’m a mom to 9 kids ranging from 0-16. And if I can figure out how to run a freelance business, so can you! It’s not impossible, and it’s definitely rewarding!

My husband and I drive a short school bus (and yes, we’ve heard all the jokes about it :D)…

I love animals and live on a farm. You’ll find pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, and cows around here.

We love playing soccer in the house, and pulling out the board games for an amazing family time.

My husband Bryan is a photographer and we often head out in the back country for photo shoots. Those bumpy roads are a little harder in a school bus!
